Digital Skills for Climate Action and Gender Equality

Our world our planet project recently held a preparatory training session, marking a significant step forward in equipping young people with the digital skills needed to address climate change and promote gender equality. This initiative, funded by the European Union, aims to empower the next generation to become active agents of change.

The session focused on providing participants with a foundation in digital tools and strategies relevant to climate action and gender equality advocacy. The training covered a range of topics, including data analysis, digital storytelling, and social media engagement. The goal is to enable youth to effectively communicate their concerns, contribute to solutions, and influence policy decisions.

A highlight of the event was the presence of the Afriyouth Care CEO, whose participation underscored the organization's commitment to youth empowerment and its dedication to the project's success. With the skills gained, these young leaders are well-positioned to make a real difference
