Greening Kibera: Planting Seeds of Change

On September 10th, 2024,in partnership with Karen Forte Environmental Conservation Foundation and Nairobi County (through MOSIRIA, Chief Officer Health Nairobi County) at Olympic High School in Kibera slums for a tree-growing activity and environmental conservation mentorship. At AfriYouth Care Group, we are passionate about environmental sustainability and fostering a sense of responsibility for creating a cleaner, healthier world, and this event perfectly embodied that mission.

The enthusiasm of the Olympic High School students was truly inspiring as they planted trees and learned about environmental conservation. This firsthand experience showed them how they can make a difference, sparking a passion for protecting our planet. We believe education is key to creating lasting change, and this mentorship program empowered these young minds to become proactive champions of the environment. This event wouldn't have been possible without the unwavering dedication of Karen Forte Environmental Conservation Foundation. Their expertise and commitment were instrumental in making the day a resounding success, and we extend our sincere gratitude for their partnership.

The experience reinforced our conviction that if everyone plays their part, we can collectively achieve a cleaner environment and a more sustainable future for all. As we say in Kenya, #Tuajibike ? let us take care of ourselves as we take care of our environment. Join AfriYouth Care Group in promoting environmental sustainability in your own communities!
